Manufacturing "Made in Italy" ceramic skirting boards since 1976 - Ceramica Incontro has been focusing and specialising in the manufacture of ceramic skirting boards ever since its inception in 1976. The company has always promptly implemented all radical changes and technological advancements in ceramic tile manufacturing. Today, our digitally decorated skirting boards in fine porcelain stoneware are in line with the most modern and refined tile varieties on the market.
Skirting boards: from single fired to fine porcelain stoneware - As the late Nineties' era of white-body single-fired tiles came to a close, Ceramica Incontro's entire production started to be in fine porcelain stoneware, from as early as 2005. Its frost-resistant quality enabled its use even for outdoor surfaces. In addition to the classic 8x45 and 8x33 sizes, there are now the special 7x60, 9x60 and 10x60 sizes.
Italian quality in the manufacture of ceramic skirting board - Ceramic skirting board manufacturing is one of those sectors where being made in Italy is truly an added value, due to the decades of know-how and continual focus on style, design and innovation. The marketed product stands out for its qualities of hygiene and durability, as well as the well-known and recognised aesthetic contribution to a house's finishing.
An idea that started a long way away and continues to move forward - Ceramica Incontro was founded in Corato, a town north of Bari, by Domenico D’Introno. He built the manufacturing site in 1976, within an industrial district that was quite different and distant from the most important Italian ceramic manufacturing area. This has meant that the company always looks beyond, towards other areas of Italy, then Europe, and further still. Filippo Ardito and Renza D’Introno have been tirelessly managing the continually evolving company since 1992.
